So this is where I bring in a bunch of supposedly interesting information about me and you get an idea of who’s actually running the show on this blog.

So here we go I guess.

Despite being only 27, I’ve had a fair bit of fun with various aspects of life, and various fields of work. From retail and general dog-body style work, through to more technical specialised stuff, mainly in the realm of IT and general computing, and professional audio and lighting. I’ve dealt with computing, LAN and WAN networking for a variety of companies, working with a mantra of “the simplest solution is the best.” and so far, it always has. I’m experienced with most major computing platforms, including Windows, Linux and Mac OS X, preferring to lean to Linux and open source technologies to achieve what I set out to achieve.

That’s enough of the work stuff. Personally, you’re looking at a serious geek. Technology and the engineering behind modern world marvels fascinates me, as does my second love of sound. Music plays a big part of who I am, and my tastes are eclectic. I’ve never been the biggest fan of stuff like rap and hiphop, and to be perfectly honest I don’t think I ever will be. I’m a gamer deep at heart, despite being pretty crap at some, and assist running LAN parties for TCOSY – a LAN party group out at Massey University near where I live.
